Proud Wife

My husband, Ron Walters, made it as a contestant at the Apollo Theater Amateur Night! He will be performing April 7, 2010, and I am so proud of him. He is a man who is willing to do whatever it takes to provide for all of us, and sometimes that means his dreams get put on hold.
The economy turn knocked the wind out of many of us, and he was forced to take a job that doesn't allow him to do music as much. So as his wife, I want to use my voice to say how honored I am to be on the planet with such an amazing human being.
The Day Before

November 14, 2009
The day before the book release and I find myself excited but anticipating the day to be as ususal.
I will wake up, Godwilling, to the sound of three little boys giggling in the room next door. I'll try to sneak to the bathroom by myself, but will be interrupted by a cute curly headed four year old daughter.
The next thing you know, a chorus of voices expound and the Walters household is officially awake. Grandma will make breakfast for the brood and the next thing you know, music is blasting and we're all having our morning dance party.
We'll play, eat and sleep...the fifteenth of November will be another Sunday full of love and life. And I will be thankful for so much that has happened that day, including the fact that I'm official. I am a novelist.
Thanks to Adsum Press for all your hard work and dedication to the process and yours truly.

It's been quite satisfying to get closer and closer to the release date of the book. It just so happened to be released the same month that I found out I was pregnant with Sarah.
"I Didn't Miscarry Her...She Died," is truly a story from my heart, and I hope that everyone finds something that speaks to them in the pages.
I am moved by the story, as if it weren't my own. Everytime I re-read a passage, I thank God that Sarah got to be mine...even though the time was brief.
So I dedicate this feeling to her. This feeling of excitement, wonderment and joy is just for my sweet angel baby...Sarah Faith.
